Leading Researcher, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Mr. Ion Comendant began his professional activity in the framework of energy research at the Academy of Sciences of Moldova in the Department of Energy Cybernetics, now the

Institute of Power Engineering, having graduated from the

Energy Faculty of the Chisinau Polytechnic Institute in 1971.

 During all these years, Dr. Ion Commandant carried out an impressive amount of research, developing a scientific product with the aim of issuing the necessary solutions for problems that stand in the way of the development of the energy sector

 

The scientist continues to make a significant contribution by participating in international projects, which leads to the growth of the image of the Institute of Power Engineering far beyond our country’s borders, at the same time representing

Moldovan state in the highest-level forums dedicated to climate change and the mitigation of emissions to the environment.

 We express our deep appreciation for the pleasant cooperation and highly

appreciate your human qualities, such as modesty, honesty, intelligence and collegiality, for perseverance and invested efforts in the development of the energy complex, one of the most important sectors of the national economy and look forward to further cooperation in the name of improving the welfare of our society.
